Motor Insurance

Trinity insurance is aware of the confusion that can occur when you are involved in a car accident. It is helpful to take notices of the following for the accident reporting.

What to do at the scene of a car accident

  1. Have someone call the police, even if the accident appears minor. Unless necessary, do not leave the accident scene without giving your report to the police. Write down the name of police department and report number.
  2. Secure the names, phone numbers and address of the other drivers, witness and injured persons.
  3. Take notes of the make, model and license number of all vehicles involved.
  4. Make a rough drawing of the scene, showing the position of vehicles before and after the accident together with any other details which appear important.
  5. Don't discuss the details of the accident with other parties.
  6. Remain calm, courteous and consistent when giving your version of the accident to police.
  7. Report the accident in writing to us as soon as possible. Please click here to download the claim form.

For enquires on claims, you can call our Claims Department at 3413.0723 or e-mail to us at claims@tgi.com.hk

Important
When you file a claim, you have a direct contract with our company that requires this company to fulfill all the conditions stated in your policy. However, the contract also places duties and requirements on you, the insured, when filing a claim. Therefore, you need to review that section of your policy often called “Conditions” or the Insured's duties after a loss.
